Gillian Stott

Clinical Psychologist

Gill has had over 30 years of clinical experience, working in a range of settings including community mental health, child and family health and hospital-based psychology. She adopts a collaborative approach to working with clients and has a positive, solution focus in therapy. Gill ran a busy private practice in Sydney for many years before moving to the mid-north coast of NSW. She ran a successful private practice from a local Medical Centre in Nambucca Heads and was highly regarded by the local medical practitioners. Early in 2022, she has relocated to Newcastle and joined the Denison Practice. Gill also worked for several years as a consultant to Aboriginal mental health and a Drug & Alcohol Rehab facility. She is an AHPRA approved supervisor and supervises Clinical Psychologist registrars and early career Psychologists.

Gill works with teenagers, adults, couples and the elderly.

She has a good understanding of psychotropic medications and alcohol and substance use issues.

Gillian is a Board-approved supervisor.

Fees: Gill does not bulk bill. She is accredited for Workcover & CTP.
